Partner Development Manager

As the Partner Development Manager at Oktopost, your primary responsibility will be to recruit and onboard referral and reseller partners, and support their growth within Oktopost's channel ecosystem. This includes developing our existing partner portfolio globally and driving revenue growth through our channel partners.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the ability to effectively communicate Oktopost's go-to-market strategy and value proposition to C-Level executive partners. You'll be responsible for helping reseller partners sell more and increase revenue, increasing the number of referred opportunities from referral partners, and expanding our market share through a partnering model.
Your ability to effectively manage our partners and drive revenue growth will be critical to the success of Oktopost's channel program.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
  • Identify, develop, and execute Oktopost’s go-to-market partner development strategy.
  • Influence partners to meet their goals in terms of capabilities, business cases, and revenue generation, ensuring alignment with Oktopost’s revenue goals.
  • Educate partners on Oktopost’s commercial value, maintaining an understanding of Oktopost’s technology, and articulating Oktopost’s propositions to partners and their customers
  • Be the primary point of contact for all partners in the partner ecosystem.
  • Initiate, develop and sustain relationships with partners with the goal of developing their sales and support capabilities, and committing to revenue/business case goals.
  • Continuously develop, monitor and adapt business cases as well as go-to-market plans with partners, ensuring that partners are on track with execution.
  • Manage partner contracts, business practices, operational/technology issues, and work with our marketing team to plan marketing events for partners.
  • Provide accurate and timely management information and revenue forecasts
  • Work closely with Oktopost’s revenue teams to ensure close alignment between sales and partner development efforts.
  • Maintain an understanding of Oktopost’s platform, ensuring you can articulate propositions to partners.
  • Ensure Oktopost is top of mind for all partners in the ecosystem.
  • Develop and grow relationships with key employees and technology partners at social networks.
  • Project management of any social network and technology partner certifications.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of SaaS Channel Partner or Sales experience.
  • Experience with Partners in a regional role in Alliances, Channels, Distribution, Sales and/or Business Development.
  • Experience working with C-level SaaS executives - a plus.
  • Excellent presentation, persuasion, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to host discovery calls and run demos.
  • Able to work independently and autonomously.
  • Negotiating skills and ability to influence.
  • Solid commercial understanding.
  • Professional, proven, competence in:
  • building relationships with partners in senior management.
  • being the key connection between partners and company executives.
  • influencing channel sales partners to increase investment and collaboration with vendors.
  • creating business and go-to-market plans with partners and ensuring they are executed.
