Meet Jill Murray

Jill is a career marketeer and a people-focused leader with both professional services and financial services experience predominantly in B2B. With outstanding experience in developing teams and talent, Jill excels at connecting strategy with people for results.

She has experience across brand, corporate communications, digital, marketing, insight-led marketing campaigns with a proven track record of delivery in complex matrix organizations driving ROI results. Her strength lies in connecting business strategy with the marketing and communications strategies to get results for the organization.

In her current role, Jill manages the marketing and communications function for Arcadis – a B2B professional services firm with 27,000 strong team who provide services including business consulting, sustainability, design, engineering and environmental consulting in 70 countries worldwide.

Developing strategies and approaches to ensure marketing is seen as a strategic growth driver has been a key theme in Jill’s career. As the Global CMO of Arcadis Jill has led a new brand strategy, brand refresh and is driving the digitalization of the function – including a new website, intranet platform, brand hub.

Before joining Arcadis, Jill spent 12 years in the financial services industry and has a business degree with a major in Economics.

Top of mind for Jill is ensuring that her team is empowered and can thrive at work. This includes prioritizing flexibility, team culture, diversity and inclusion. Jill is an Australian living in The Netherlands and as a working parent Jill is passionate about ensuring that workplaces offer flexible arrangements and ensure this is a part of team culture.
